Job Summary:The Shift Manager supports the crew in directing the daily operations of their Andys store in support of the Mission, Values and Culture while role modeling Andys Standard of Excellence. The Shift Manager assists in ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations to include but not limited to: product preparation and delivery, customer service, facilities maintenance and financial accountability. This role accomplishes these objectives by actively training and coaching talent and running shifts to achieve key results in Custard, Crew, and Customers.To be considered for this position you must be at least 18 years of age and have at least 6 months of management experience, quick service preferred.Benefits for Full Time Employees (30+ hours/week):Health, Vision, and Dental InsurancePrincipal Life InsurancePet Insurance401K with 4% MatchingDependent Care FSAPaid Time OffEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Custard:Ensures the correct inventory levels are met per shiftOperates custard machines and ensures high quality product is producedEnsures all custard/food items are prepared according to Andys standards of quality, consistency, and timelinessCompletes designated Food Safety and Training programs as prescribedCrew:Responsible for driving key performance indicators to drive sales and transaction growthMaintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standardAssist with new employee training through positive reinforcement (Responsible for monitoring training and development of new employees on shift)Create a positive and professional work environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful feedback to all crew and managersAs a key holder, execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing dutiesEffectively lead the store and provide direction to crew when the GM and AGM are not presentFollow and reinforce Andys operational policies and proceduresFollow and reinforce Andys Dress Code and Personal Appearance PolicyCustomer:Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by using a customer comes first attitudeUtilize operational tools to achieve maximum operational efficiency, i.e., Drive times, food costs, labor costs, etc.Always maintain all health and safety regulationsThe above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job.
