They are needing someone who has a good blend of analysis and accounting and is strong in CapEx experience. The roles are estimated to be about 3 months long but could lead to something permanent later on. They do offer a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and up to 2 days remote. Please apply if you are interested in hearing more! Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior CapEx Accountant/Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing reports, leading monthly division meetings, and collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient management of capital projects. You will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and provide updates on strategic projects to the marketing team for CEO presentations. Responsibilities Prepare and lead monthly division and Capital meetings. Partner with divisions on lease and capital questions, and prepare quarterly reports for meetings. Manage the Capital Projects SharePoint site and improve approval processes. Assist with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate cash flow monitoring. Collaborate with marketing to provide monthly updates on strategic projects. Manage the CapEx file and track spending across divisions using systems like SAP and FAS. Handle KPI reporting and asset transactions for assigned plants. Complete monthly depreciation runs and prepare fixed asset reports. Prepare account reconciliations for corporate accounts. Oversee overbudget reports and communicate with plants for re-approval. Prepare miscellaneous financial reports and assist in audits. Lead discussions on engineering time allocation and provide statistical reports. Create and distribute yearly depreciation reports during budgeting. Complete and submit annual property assessments, taxes, and government census. Manage lease projects and ensure compliance with FASB tests. Prepare quarterly lease obligations reports for the Treasury Department. Essential Skills Proficiency in accounting, general ledger, and reconciliation. Experience with project accounting and month-end processes. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of lease accounting and fixed assets management. Familiarity with SAP and CapEx tracking. Ability to independently resolve complex problems and provide solutions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on capital finance, fixed assets, and leasing. Preferred experience in the manufacturing industry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
