Job Description Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Overland Park, KS | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire| up to $55,000 annually LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client who is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team on a temp?to?hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast?paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and brings hands?on experience with billing, cash application, and account reconciliation. The position offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Create, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner Apply cash receipts, ACH, and check payments to customer accounts Monitor and manage AR aging; follow up on outstanding balances as needed Resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and credit memos Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month?end close activities Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding account issues Maintain accurate AR records and documentation in accordance with company policies QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or related accounting role Strong working knowledge of AR processes including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred) Experience working with ERP or accounting systems High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication and customer service skills Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year Search managed by: Claire Grossman Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
