Job DescriptionUnder the direction of senior leadership, provides a wide range of clerical duties to include data entry and audits to ensure and validate all documentation for new customers are in place and accurate. This position will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Supervisor and Customer Service Liaison and will serve as an assistant to the clinical staff. This position will serve as a clinical scribe by preparing clinical charts and visits for the providers.Responsibilities

  • Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Wound Care Plus, LLC
  • Prepare for the days' activities and visits by organizing and loading client visits
  • Preparing new client charts for the providers
  • Use of EMR system for all client information
  • Promotes the flow of information to and from the medical records system
  • Proofing and review of demographic information and patient documents
  • Responsible for handling confidential information
  • Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
  • Create, maintain, and enter information in databases

      Education and / or ExperienceEquivalent combination of education and experience.

      Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively.

      Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

      Reasoning AbilityAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

      Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio, Project) and Heal360.
