Job Description:
Maintenance Manager We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Maintenance Manager to lead the operational and fiscal activities
of our Kansas City Maintenance Department. This role plays a
critical part in maintaining facility and equipment efficiency
while fostering a high-performance team environment. Ideal
candidates will have a strong background in manufacturing
maintenance— experience with press brakes, punch presses, roll
forming, or laser equipment, or prior work in metal manufacturing
is a significant plus . Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day
operations of the Maintenance Department, including budgeting,
staffing, and goal setting. Develop and implement systems and
procedures to improve departmental performance and reduce costs.
Manage preventive and total productive maintenance (PM/TPM)
programs aligned with OSHA standards. Oversee facility projects and
repairs, coordinating with Engineering and maintenance management
systems. Hire, train, and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a
culture of continuous improvement and talent development.
Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager to ensure efficient
delivery of maintenance services. Qualifications: High School
Diploma required; higher education or technical certifications
preferred. 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a
manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Maintenance Management
Systems and MS Office. Strong leadership, communication, and
project management skills. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or
Continuous Improvement principles is a plus. Preferred Experience:
Hands-on knowledge of metal manufacturing processes and equipment
such as press brakes, punch presses, roll forming machines, and
