Job Description:
The OR Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in the
operating room. OR Registered Nurses will prepare the operating
room and the patient for surgery and make certain that all
equipment is sterile and working properly.ResponsibilitiesOperating
Room Registered Nurse duties consist of:
Evaluating the well being of the patient before, during and after
the operation.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and provide instruments and
supplies to them during operations.
Gathering and logging the items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within
the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
