Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leader in retail and community health, is
seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join
our dynamic team in providing unparalleled healthcare services
within our innovative pharmacy sector. This role will focus on
delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, managing patient
medication therapy, and maintaining legal and regulatory compliance
in line with Walmarts commitment to improving community health at a
global level. Dispense prescriptions accurately while checking for
potential drug interactions and contraindications. Counsel patients
on medication usage and side effects, ensuring optimal therapeutic
outcomes. Administer immunizations and participate in health
screening events. Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy
files, adhering to confidentiality regulations as per HIPAA
guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare providers to monitor,
modify, and optimize drug therapy tailored to patient-specific
needs. Manage pharmacy inventory and perform frequent checks to
ensure the availability of medication for ongoing patient needs.
Stay up-to-date with new medications, products, and state and
federal regulations concerning pharmacy practice. Supervise
pharmacy technicians and support staff ensuring quality and
efficiency in workflow execution. Strong knowledge of
pharmacological substances, therapeutic protocols, and drug
interaction. Excellent communication skills for effective patient
counseling and collaboration with healthcare teams. Detail-oriented
with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong
ethical standards and a commitment to patient privacy. Medical

Valid state pharmacist license. Certification in Immunization
Delivery preferred. Eligible for pharmacy-based certification in
Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a plus.
