26 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity –
Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Kansas Start Date: February 23,
2026 Location: Topeka, Kansas Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Monday–Friday or 12-hour shifts;
includes 1–2 nights per week and call rotation every 3 weeks
Highlights: Cardiothoracic surgical focus with coronary artery
bypass and open-heart procedures Exposure to both general surgical
cases and cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) cases Comprehensive
perioperative responsibilities including pre-op and post-op care
Contract length flexible: 13–26 weeks (26 weeks preferred) Epic EMR
system in use Fast-paced environment involving routine, urgent, and
trauma surgical cases Requirements: Active RN license in Kansas or
compact state eligibility Strong cardiothoracic surgery experience
required, including coronary artery bypass procedures BLS, ACLS,
and CNOR certifications (CCI verification required) Previous travel
or contract nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
