(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for an experienced Nurse Circulator to support surgical teams in an
operating room setting. This contract role is located in Blue
Springs, MO, providing care to patients in orthopedic, general, and
cardiovascular surgery. The positions primary focus is to assist
with patient preparation, coordinate nursing activities, and ensure
sterile environments during surgical procedures. Schedule: - Monday
through Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - On-call shifts Monday through
Friday: 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM (when scheduled as on-call) - Weekend
on-call: 24-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (when scheduled) -
Call requirement: 12-15 shifts per month Qualifications and Desired
Experience: - Proven experience in orthopedic, general surgery, and
cardiovascular operating room nursing - Strong understanding of
sterile techniques and surgical protocols - Ability to effectively
collaborate with surgical teams and adapt to fast-paced OR
environments - Valid nursing license with relevant certifications
as applicable Responsibilities: - Circulate during surgeries by
managing patient care and surgical equipment - Ensure all nursing
activities conform to hospital standards and safety regulations -
Assist in preparing the operating room and verifying sterile
supplies and instruments - Respond promptly and efficiently to
changing situations during surgical procedures Location
