Case-by-case Job Description Overview The OR Technologist III is a
senior-level surgical technologist role for highly skilled
professionals supporting complex and high-acuity procedures. This
position functions as a lead technologist across multiple
specialties, including robotics, total joints, neuro/spine, burn,
and vascular surgery. Ideal candidates bring hybrid OR/endovascular
experience, strong technical proficiency, and the ability to mentor
junior staff in a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and
equipment for advanced procedures. Serve as first scrub for complex
cases, including robotics, ortho joints, neuro/spine, burn, and
vascular surgeries. Maintain strict sterile technique and uphold
all intraoperative safety and infection control standards.
Anticipate surgeon needs and support efficient surgical workflow.
Assist in the second scrub role (retraction, suctioning, camera
operation, suture management). Demonstrate wire-handling expertise
for hybrid and endovascular procedures. Assist with room turnover,
equipment readiness, and supply management. Collaborate with
surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and fellow techs to maintain an
efficient OR environment. Provide mentorship and serve as a
resource to junior technologists. Qualifications Required: At least
1 year of operating room technologist experience. Endovascular
experience in a hybrid OR with wire-based procedures. Competency as
lead scrub in: robotics, total joints, neuro/spine, burn, vascular.
2 years of surgical technologist experience in an acute-care
hospital. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
(CORT). Certification: CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT), required upon
hire. BLS required within 30 days of hire. Preferred: Strong
organizational skills and proficiency with wire techniques.
Demonstrated teamwork and comfort with complex case volume.

$20,000 sign-on bonus. Night and weekend differentials ($3/hr).
