Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent home health experience and current BLS certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Home health setting covering 13 counties - Day shift, typically 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30 - On-call required one Sunday every 5 weeks - Every 5th week, schedule includes working Saturday and Sunday for admissions with 2 weekdays off - Patient load varies based on travel distance; fewer patients are scheduled when coverage requires more travel - EPIC charting experience is preferred - Black, grey, or khaki pants and a polo or scrub top are required; no prints are allowed - Modules must be completed during orientation and are recorded in MyPath - Two professional references are required for consideration - Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at the same rate - Return staff must have a 1-year break before being eligible to return as a traveler - Travel PT experience is preferred - RTO (requested time off) must be provided for consideration /n /n Requirements/n - Current state PT license required if applicable - Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required - Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required - Current BLS certification required - Experience with EPIC EMR preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-664475.
