Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare
organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to
provide specialized support within various school settings in the
Kansas City, KS area. This role involves travel to multiple
educational locations to deliver essential therapeutic services
that promote student development and academic success. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students
occupational therapy needs related to fine motor skills, sensory
processing, and daily living activities. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans to support students participation in
classroom and school activities. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and
ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation of
student progress and treatment outcomes. Travel between school
sites as required to provide hands-on therapy services. Desired
Experience and Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license
with credentials to practice in Kansas. Experience working within
school environments preferred. Ability to engage effectively with
children of various ages and developmental levels. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Willingness to travel
locally between schools as part of daily responsibilities.
