Type: Travel Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Certified
Surgical Technologist (CST) for a high-acuity operating room
environment in Kansas City, KS. This is a Level I Trauma setting
requiring strong clinical skills across multiple specialties. Start
Date: ASAP Schedule: Days – 4x10s (Mon–Fri) 06:30–17:00 Alternative
Schedule: May consider 3x12s if preferred Setting: Operating Room
Orientation: In-person, Monday & Tuesday This role requires a
strong background in complex surgical cases and the ability to
function confidently in a fast-paced, trauma-focused OR.
Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain sterile field for a variety
of surgical procedures - Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure
appropriate instrumentation and supplies are available - Scrub and
assist in ENT, Neuro, and Surgical Oncology cases - Support Level I
trauma cases with efficiency and precision - Maintain surgical
counts and ensure patient safety protocols are followed -
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR nursing
staff - Float to all OR specialties as needed based on volume and
acuity Requirements - NBSTSA certification preferred OR minimum 3
years of Surgical Technologist experience if non-certified - AHA
BLS certification - Strong experience in: - ENT - Neuro - Surgical
Oncology (General Surgery) - Level I Trauma experience required -
Ability to float across all OR specialties New graduates will not
be considered. Preferred Qualifications - 1.5–2 years of travel
experience - Strong Orthopedic experience - Transplant experience
Additional Details - Floating: Required to all ORs - Weekend
Requirement: None - On-Call: 3–4 shifts per 8-week period (may
include weekends) - Holidays: Not required; if a holiday falls on a
scheduled workday, the subsequent pay period will be reduced by
holiday pay hours - Credentials Due: 1 week prior to start date
(Monday deadline) - Nicotine-free facility Level I Trauma OR
position requiring strong ENT, Neuro, and Surgical Oncology
experience. Must be comfortable floating to all OR specialties.
On-call requirement 3–4 shifts per 8 weeks. Travel experience
preferred. High-acuity, fast-paced environment — experienced CSTs
