Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years
of recent specialty experience required - Must have a full year of
in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no gap in
employment greater than 90 days in the past year Description: The
primary patients are those that have undergone bariatric surgery.
Other cases include urology procedures, hepatobiliary surgeries,
colorectal surgeries, and trauma patients. Common surgical
interventions include colostomies, nephrectomies, and complex
biliary cases. The unit frequently manages patients requiring
debridement and wound care, especially for necrotizing infections.
Pain management techniques include epidurals, PCAs, and lidocaine
infusions. Patients often present with drains such as foley
catheters, JP drains, and chest tubes. Regular floating may be
required between departments and units as needed. Candidates must
be flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the facility. A
minimum of 8 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period is
required. Candidates must provide two references, with one coming
from a supervisor level or higher. All references must be from the
