be considered. A full-time Registered Nurse position is available
in Blue Springs, MO, providing specialized nursing care in a school
setting. This role involves supporting a 4th-grade female student
with special healthcare needs, including G-tube feeding, wheelchair
mobility, and seizure disorder management. The schedule is
approximately 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM during the school year, with
additional responsibilities as a clinic nurse across various grade
levels when the student is not in attendance. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to a student with complex medical
needs. - Transport and accompany the student to and from school
from the bus barn. - Manage the school clinic independently, as the
sole nurse on-site at times. - Collaborate with school staff and
coordinate care across PreK-12 settings. - Perform electronic
charting and documentation using computer systems. - Adapt to a
flexible schedule to meet student and district needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current and active
Missouri RN license with no disciplinary actions. - Recent
pediatric nursing experience, preferably in ICU, ER, or school
settings. - Comfort managing complex medical cases independently. -
Strong multitasking skills and proficiency in electronic health
record systems. - Flexible and able to work with a wide age range
of children (PreK-12). - No new graduates; experience in pediatric
care is essential. Location: - Blue Springs, Missouri (school-based
