(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for an
experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional peri-operative
care in a surgical environment. The role involves delivering
competent direct and indirect patient care to a diverse patient
population, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults,
and older adults. The RN will collaborate closely with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to promote
efficient patient flow and uphold high standards of nursing
practice. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing
assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient
outcomes within the peri-operative setting Coordinate patient care
with surgical teams and anesthesiology Supervise and guide OR
Technicians and support staff to maintain a professional and
organized operating room environment Ensure compliance with
hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices
Participate actively in performance improvement initiatives, unit
meetings, and educational in-services Serve as a resource and
mentor for other team members as needed Qualifications/Desired
Experience: Current Registered Nurse license Experience in
peri-operative nursing, preferably with surgical patient
populations across all age groups Ability to collaborate
effectively with multidisciplinary team members Strong
organizational and communication skills Familiarity with hospital
regulations and quality improvement processes is an asset Schedule:
On-call shifts Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM (when scheduled)
On-call shifts Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (when scheduled)
