(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert nursing care
in the peri-operative setting supporting patients from neonates to
older adults, ensuring quality and continuity throughout surgical
procedures. This contract role is based in Kansas City, MO,
providing the opportunity to contribute to surgical services in a
dynamic hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate nursing care during the peri-operative
period. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
OR staff to coordinate patient care. Guide and oversee OR
Technicians and other personnel while maintaining professional
nursing standards. Support efficient patient flow and maintain unit
organization. Adhere to hospital policies, regulations, and
standards. Participate in performance improvement activities, unit
meetings, and ongoing training. Serve as a resource and mentor to
other staff members as appropriate. Qualifications / Desired
Experience: Current RN licensure in Missouri. Experience in
peri-operative nursing or relevant OR roles. Ability to work
effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and
organizational skills. Commitment to patient safety and quality
care. Schedule/Hours: On-call shifts Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM to
7:00 AM (when scheduled). On-call coverage Saturday-Sunday from
7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (when scheduled). Location Overview:Kansas City,
