Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: - Shift: 12H Nights - Total Weekly Hours: 36 - Certifications: BLS, NIHSS - Trauma Level: - Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Experience:/n- 1 to 2 years of Telemetry Experience/n- 2 years of recent specialty experience required, with a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months/n/nPreferred Experience:/n- Previous Charge Experience/n- Trauma Level I Experience/n/nCertifications:/n- BLS/n- NIHSS/n/nSkills Required:/n- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams/n- Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin Drips/n- Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management/n- Genitourinary/Renal: Continuous Bladder Irrigation, IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs/n- MEDICATIONS: Heparin Protocols, PCA/n- Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)/n- Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank/n- Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac/n/nSkills Preferred:/n- Genitourinary/Renal: Renal Failure/n- Orthopedics: Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements/n- Plastics: Surgical drains/n- Respiratory: Tracheostomy Management/n/nCharting System Experience:/n- Epic/n/nOther Qualifications:/n- Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed/n- Two references required: one supervisor level or above, the second can be a charge RN, all from the past year/n/nLicensure:/n- Must have both Kansas and Missouri or compact in hand at the time of submission/n/nAdditional Requirements:/n- No first-timers accepted/n- No pending licenses accepted/n- Travel experience required/n- No travel partners accepted When you apply with Junxion, you speak with a live U.S.-based recruiter who understands the travel market.
