degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Director of
Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Lead pharmacy operations at
a newly opening behavioral health facility, providing expert
direction and ensuring compliance in an inpatient setting. This
role requires a dynamic pharmacy leader ready to establish pharmacy
services from the ground up at a behavioral hospital. Key
responsibilities include collaborating with nursing staff to order
and stock medications, setting up automated dispensing systems,
developing and implementing pharmacy policies, and maintaining open
communication through weekly progress updates. The role demands
strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle a startup
environment with no pharmacy technician support. Qualifications: -
Pharmacist licensure in Missouri in good standing is mandatory. -
Experience in inpatient behavioral health pharmacy settings. -
Familiarity with order entry systems such as HCS or Cerner is
preferred. - Experience with Omnicell automation systems is highly
desirable. - Proven leadership skills in pharmacy operations and
policy development. Working Hours: - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to
5:00 PM, plus on-call duties. - Weekend coverage is on-call only.
This is a contract position covering from late April (start no
later than May 4th) until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The role
requires flexibility and a hands-on approach to successfully launch
