Do you like variety? - Are you an experience phlebotomist looking to gain more leadership experience? - Then you might consider an opportunity with LabCorp as a Phlebotomist Float. - We are looking for phlebotomists that like a versatile work environment to float from site to site covering while our assigned phlebotomists are out, assist with opening new accounts, and train other phlebotomists.Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

  Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist drawing all age groups
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness testShift 1ScheduleFlexible to work between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation every 6th or 7th Saturday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
