Safely operate a Class A truck over regional routes to deliver goods to company clients efficiently and on time. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods). Manage documentation, such as truck logs, cargo and route information, and records of deliveries. Monitor on-road conditions and communicate any delays or hazards to the dispatch team. Handle basic troubleshooting of truck-related issues and maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle. Proficiency in operating Class A trucks and knowledge of DOT regulations. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills. Must pass a background check and drug test.
