Colonial Gardens, located in Blue Springs, MO, was added to our brand family in 2016. Founded in 1969, renovations began in 2017 to create an agritourism destination. It is the garden center, reimagined! We offer a greenhouse, nursery, caf-- and coffee shop, event space, and farmer's market. It's where plants, food and farms connect. Educational classes promoting local agriculture and sustainability as well as private events are also offered.

We are searching for seasonal part-time crew members to provide great events experiences for our guests. If you enjoy a fun work environment and have a strong customer service orientation, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service - Working with team to provide a fun, welcoming, and safe experience for a variety of public and private events including music events, weddings, field trips, and farm festivals.
2. Communication - Maintaining clear communication lines between the public, your team, and the Events Coordinator.
Essential Job Duties:
-Building rapport with customers
- Maintaining a clean and inviting space
Set up and teardown of events
Customer transactions/sales at register
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Guiding customers through festivals, events, field trips, etc.
Gate admissions
Safety Checks
Alcohol sales, age permitting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to Work Long Hours in Varying Weather Conditions
Ability to Problem Solve in Stressful Situations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Age 16 or older
Working on High School or GED equivalent
Experience in hospitality prefered
