ResponsibilitiesPull orders using a barcode scanner for customer orders in the warehouse.Receive incoming shipments for stock items.
Stock shelves in the warehouse. Measure and cut wire/cable ensuring great quality Verify all equipment is in safe working condition and calibrated as required Verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) Stage product for loading Load product onto truck Unload materials from truck
Move waste to dumpsters Responsible for quality No damaged product is sent out. No damaged material is accepted in Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards Clean and maintain work areas Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Functions

• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle, and have a driving record that meets the company standards as stated in SPI 537, Vehicles and its subsection "Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs)" and SPI 539, Commercial Motor Vehicles and its subsection "FMCSR Driver Requirements".
• Ability to easily move about job (construction) sites.
• Ability to perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle.
• Ability to communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to company personnel.
• Ability to work entire shift in extreme heat or cold.
• Ability to manually lift heavy boxes (minimum of 70 lbs.) of stock from shelves in warehouse, including reaching, lifting overhead, stooping down, crouching and climbing ladders.
• Ability to pull stock from, and to stock, conduit racks in warehouse or yard.
• Ability to load and unload trucks from ground level or platform.
• Ability to safely operate materials handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) and wire measuring equipment.
• Ability to read a map and plan the routing of delivery trucks.
• Ability to count bundles, boxes, reels, and coils.
• Understanding of basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work entire shift on concrete or other hard floor surface.
• Ability to work entire shift in extreme heat, cold or dusty environment.
• Ability to manually lift heavy boxes (minimum of 70 lbs.) of stock from shelves in warehouse, including reaching, lifting overhead, stooping down, crouching and climbing ladders.
• Ability to pull stock from, and to stock, conduit racks in warehouse or yard.
• Ability to load and unload trucks from ground level or platform.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) and wire measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of CEDNet receiving screens.
• Understanding of basic computer skills to open and close shipping documents.
• Ability to read a map and plan the routing of delivery trucks.
• Ability to sort and file numerically and alphabetically.
• Ability to identify products and quantities as described on a Packing List, Debit Memo, Return Material Authorization and Sales Register.
• Ability to count bundles, boxes, reels, coils, and pallets.
• Understanding of basic computer skills in order to open and close UPS log daily.
• Ability to comprehend, read, and to communicate the English language orally and in writing.
  RequirementsMust be a high school graduate have a current driver's License, Clean driving record, ability to lift 75lbs. Must be willing to learn and work towards a career path with Rensenhouse Electric Supply. Must pass background check and Drug Screening test.
