Company Background - Flynn Restaurant Group Greg Flynn, founded Flynn Restaurant Group (FRG) in 1999 with the acquisition of eight Applebee's in Washington State. While the company's initial focus was growing within the Applebee's system, it has since added three other leading brands starting with Taco Bell in 2013, followed by Panera in 2015, and most recently Arby's in 2018. Today, through its four wholly-owned subsidiaries, Apple American, Bell American, Pan American, and RB American, FRG owns over 460 Applebee's, 270 Taco Bells, 130 Panera cafes, and 360 Arby's, representing $2.4 Billion in Sales and directly employing more than 48,000 people in 34 states. Going forward the company plans to continue its aggressive growth by building and acquiring additional restaurants as well as opportunistically expanding into other brands and businesses. Company Background - Pan American Group Pan American Group LLC is a franchisee of Panera Bread. Pan American Group LLC is built on a decentralized business model, which means that each geographic area is led by a Director of Operations. Reporting to the DO are Area Directors, who are multiple unit operators, responsible for the overall functions of the caf-- -'s in their areas. Reporting to the Area Directors are the General Managers, who are the chief Cafe managers responsible for the overall running of their caf-- -. Aiding in the management of the Cafe are Assistant Managers, who are responsible for running of their departments and who help with every-day management responsibilities. Rounding out the cafe leadership are Shift Supervisors and Bakery Managers. Position Description This position is based from home with responsibility for exceeding sales activity targeted objectives through new business acquisition and an existing client base. You will be responsible for overseeing an existing book of business to ensure catering clients are continuing their frequency of ordering. You will act as liaison between clients, dedicated retail catering teams, and other internal company departments. Your goal is to maintain and grow the existing book of business through strategic account maintenance calls, while also leveraging referrals from both internal and external resources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Focus on strategic sales building efforts (ie: account maintenance calls, strategic follow up) by contacting leads and existing clients to secure future orders which will generate incremental revenueAchieve target revenue through new business acquisitions and an existing book of business, within a given target market, or at the discretion of the manager Create proposals to meet client event needs Build and maintain positive client relationships Develop and execute a strategic account development plan in order to ensure continued sales growth for each client Utilize a CRM tool () to enter detailed information and create follow-up tasks Effectively manage time to meet target goals and deadlines Prioritize a call list of high-potential new and existing clients by analyzing reports in addition to other provided resources Process a high volume of outbound and inbound calls Acts as main sales resource for retail catering teams in assigned market(s), to include coaching for direct sales initiatives and is a Subject matter expert contact for Catering Coordinators and Catering Service Specialists Uncover referral opportunities through existing client base and retail catering teams Responds to client needs with timely follow-up Communicate effectively both internally and externally Utilizes Outlook Calendar as well as other online resources to maximize organization and follow up Operates with the highest level of integrity and professionalism Always maintains a service-focused approach with a caring and sincere attitude Attend and participate in team meetings Available to work a flexible work schedule that could include weekends and evenings Perform other job functions as directed by Leadership Able to travel 10% of the time Education and Experience Goal-oriented and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience and proficiency with a CRM tool, is preferred.
