Job Description:
Volt is hiring a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician located in
Topeka, KS The Level 2 Desktop Support Technician will configure,
troubleshoot, and monitor the functioning of personal computers and
server systems. You will undertake pre-emptive maintenance on
equipment, escalate issues which are unresolved, and aid other
teams in supporting different operating systems such as Wide Area
Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN). Respond to phone calls,
messages and emails relating to system issues or hardware problems.
As a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician , you will: Keep abreast of
equipment and hardware contracts. Deploy products quickly to
address crucial business needs of an organization. Provide help
with network issues. Work along with other members of the IT team
to install new software. Provide assistance in maintaining
inventory of peripheral devices of all systems. Create
documentation of computer hardware issues and trouble shooting.
Work with the latest versions of operating systems, such as Windows
or macOS or UNIX/Linux. This is a full-time opportunity Pay Rate:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful
